Maersk Line wins 2012 Best Global Shipping Line Award

Maersk Line wins “Best Global Shipping Line” and the “Best Shipping Line - Asia – Europe” Awards at the 26th Annual Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards.  Mike Fang, Head of Sales for East China, Maersk Line received the award on behalf of the company: “We’re honoured to be recognised by our customers for our efforts to deliver high quality products. Winning such awards again proves that our focus on reliability, ease of doing business and the environment is what differentiates us in the marketplace. It is a solid endorsement from our customers for our Daily Maersk service, which has changed the industry standard by delivering on promises and saving costs for customers. We will continue to focus on bringing greater reliability to our customers in the coming year and beyond.” The Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards are held annually by Cargonews Asia, a Hong Kong-based cargo freight and logistics trade newspaper, to honour the respective winning organizations for demonstrating leadership as well as consistency in service quality, innovation and customer relationship management reliability. This is the 19th consecutive year when Maersk Line took home the award of “Best Global Shipping Line” and the 24th time it won the “Best Shipping Line- Asia-Europe” Award.
